Here's what I turned part of my hand-dyed fabrics into - a started wall hanging a la Alicia Merrett and Laura Wasilowski.
In the lower left corner you can see that I've started the hand stitching.
The piece is titled Water's Edge.
This is going to be really nice, and it would make a great birthday gift for me ( next month, so you have time to finish it). Love your colors , and the rickrack adds a nice touch. I am sure you all had fun in this class.
